Nothing fancy, no high priced gifts, just the simple pleasure of his attention and devotion. As I get older and time seemingly passes by faster, I realize time with my children not only gives them the opportunity to have memories of me as I do my dad, but in return I am awarded the same. Ray Appen publisher What do you want for Father’s Day? That would be a week at the beach with my family. Hands down. We would all fish in the morning. Take a long walk looking for shells and arrowheads in the early afternoon. Swim all late afternoon. Then grill out steaks after attacking a bushel of oysters for dinner. We would end the day with a team Scrabble game. If that was not possible, a cruise to Alaska would be nice. If that was not possible, some good books would be OK too. What's the best gift you've received? My family is not a huge gift giver for Father’s Day, and that is OK.
