In this fast-paced, stressed life, it's is important to remember to take a break from time to time and stay calm. To help us do that, there's a great app called Calm. Our goal was to create a AAA quality game with exquisite connected toys. The biggest challenge was to create the product quickly, but without compromising on quality. This was the first time a game with physical toys was being made based on Indian Mythology and so we wanted it to look and feel awesome. We put together an excellent internal team of game developers with experience working at Activision, Electronic Arts, Lucas Arts and Capcom to create the game. Our toy partners, Woohing, based in Hong Kong did a phenomenal job in creating the hardware and toys.

I think the Indian gaming industry has come a long way, where, in the past, India was primarily an outsourcing hub for foreign gaming companies providing game development services. It was mostly in the form of console and PCbased games that had few takers. However, today, the industry is worth $890 million in India as per Nasscom. It has at least two companies coming up every month and growing at around 30 percent every year. With these stats and figure I must say the Indian gaming industry has great potential.

Thus, the idea is simple – keep crossing those roads without getting smashed. The controls are simple enough. Tap on the screen to hop ahead, and swipe left, right, or down to hop one space in that direction. There are coins (in-game currency) that you can collect along the way, which you can spend to unlock new playable characters. The challenge comes in getting through all those randomly-generated obstacles, and also the cars and trucks keep moving from left to right and are
hard to dodge. Everything moves at varied speeds too, so you have to time things just right. Interestingly, if you stay in the same place for too long or move three steps back, you’ll be snatched up by an eagle, resulting in a game over. So you’ve no choice than just going forward. And that’s what makes this game quick, fast, addictive and a true entertainer. All of Crossy Road’s in-app purchases are for extra characters, none of which are necessary to enjoy the game, really. INTRODUCTION OF BIKE TAXIS Just after auto-rickshaws, it is the two-wheeler on the row, delivering commuting services to daily passengers across several cities in India. Bike taxis are faster and comfortable compared to any other mode of transport. The drivers are fully trained to carry out rides wearing uniforms for quick identification. These pillion riders come with a helmet, riding latest models of bikes to ferry customers to their desirable places. Baxi is one such recently launched bike ride-hailing app, which helps to call two-wheeler anywhere in Gurgaon. Baxi claims that a trip from HUDA City Centre to Cyber Park, or from Sikandarpur to Cyber Hub would cost around Rs. 25/- only. ‘Baxis’ can be hailed directly from Govt. allocated stands or online through its Android app.

India's public transportation future is not just about Uber anymore or the homegrown Ola Cabs. To solve the office commute problem while positively impacting issues like congestion, pollution and safety, a number of apps have been developed to avoid surge pricing during peak hours and crowded public transport. These apps provide minibus shuttle service, which is a little expensive than the public buses but cheaper than taxis. Shuttl, an eight-month-old startup that provides air-conditioned minibuses, raised $20M to accelerate shuttle services in Delhi/NCR. The service allows travelers to find a route, buy tickets and take a bus via its iOS, Android or Windows Phone app. One ride would cost around Rs. 20/- to 100/depending upon the route. Ola app also introduced Ola Shuttle service in Gurgaon, Noida and Bengaluru, covering 100 routes with a fleet of 500 shuttles. At a price significantly less than an Ola cab ride, the shuttles will provide air conditioning, Wi-Fi access, and in-vehicle entertainment.
Next in the row is the newly-born M-Taxi, a compelling bike ridehailing app that rolled out in Gurgaon on December 1, 2015. MTaxi aims to make the life of an urban city dweller more livable and provide him with that extra productive time to make more out of his daily life. Both Baxi and MTaxi are Android only apps, at present.
To solve the city's deteriorating traffic situation at the same time, provide a comfortable and convenient public transport ride, ZipGo, an Android app, aggregates AC bus shuttle services in Bengaluru, fare starting at just Rs. 29/-. AN APP SUPPORTING ODD-EVEN CAR SCHEME PROPOSED BY DELHI GOVERNMENT Just days ahead of the launch of odd-even car scheme in the national capital, an app called 'Odd Even Ride' has been rolled out to make commuting even easier. The app works on the same lines as any other carpooling app, except that it shows rides based on vehicle numbers apart from proximity. “Odd Even Ride is a free app and has been designed with an aim to make the odd even policy a success by providing people such tools that facilitate travelling. Not everyone has cars with both even and odd numbers and also, especially because carpooling has become so popular these days, we

created this app,” said Damini Pahwa, founder of Odd Even Ride. Users will need to put down their names, mobile number, destination, time, gender, etc. apart from vehicle number. The app is at a very nascent stage and close to 100 people have registered on the app till now. The numbers are, however, expected to grow as more people come to know about it.
