You do not have to own a highend camera for you to be able to capture mesmerising images. Here are some tips on how to take great images with just your phone camera.

TIP 1. CHECK YOUR LIGHTING. One of the major factors that make or breaks an image is the lighting. You should check how the lighting is making your subject look. You have to pay attention to the reflective lights that bounce off your surrounding. Generally, phone cameras are not fans of the dark, so you may want to practice while the sun is still up.

TIP 2. DO NOT ZOOM IN WITH YOUR CAMERA. Zooming in may not be a problem for a full, high-end camera, but doing this with a phone camera may compromise the quality of the image. Instead of zooming in with your camera, physically move closer to your subject.

TIP 3. PLAY WITH ANGLES. There is more than one way to view things. Try seeing a subject on a different perspective. The angle can actually affect the emotional impact of an image. Climb up on a high vantage point, kneel on the ground, do yoga poses--- just be creative with your angles.

TIP 4. MAKE GOOD USE OF APPS. One great thing about mobile photography is that there are many apps available that can help you enhance your images. Unlike with the images from an SLR, you do not have to transfer your files before you get to edit them. You can point, shoot and edit whenever.

TIP 5. CLEAN YOUR LENSES. If you are going for a textured, dirty and blurry effect for your shot, you can skip this, but if you are not--- then clean your lenses! Give your phone lense a good wipe and get your thumbprint off there. This will give you a sharper shot of your subject.

TIP 6. GO FOR BOTH QUALITY AND QUANTITY. Mobile phones are portable little gadgets. You can take as many images as you please without having to adjust many things. The only thing that could stop you from taking more images is your phone memory and your battery levels.

TIP 7. HAVE FUN. Photography is an art. It is meant to make you and your audience feel. It is meant to be enjoyed. Make sure that you are having fun with what you are doing.
