Line of sight has 3 aspects that translate to our project. First you have a datum that is a starting or a focal point. Next you have what you are focused on, the opportunities ahead of you, your goals, your experiences. And finally for this project, you have your peripheral view and the interruptions or distractions. Intervention #2 explores private space. It is the datum. The reading area is the starting point both figuratively and physically. You read a book you expand your opportunities, in the same way you exist in this space and it expands to a spacious view, a time and space for reflection and anticipation of what is to come. Intervention #3 is the catalogue space, layered and rhythmic. It is compartmentalized. Although it is structured it represents a compilation of opportunities .

Intervention #1 is the connecting space. It is the public space - the “distraction”. One does not instantly obtain their goals or opportunities that await them - they are distracted by what is in our peripheral vision . One has to interact with the public to reach the “goal” or opportunity. This is interpreted in connecting ground condition that is a grid showing the layers and intersection and stitching together of the 2 systems along with spacial moments of interaction expanding outward toward the “opportunities.”

Community envelope emerging, connecting expanded environment. My analysis is on how the social aspect is developing our downtown spaces. Community: This is various sizes and shape social spaces, individually separate but, come together to make a whole system or unit in the downtown area. Envelope: Per my drawing and model you see various edges creating a permeable boundary, but a boundary none the less, this boundary groups these social spaces and "encloses" them. Emerging: Expansion outward. The community that once only used to be on the east side of I-4, is now expanding along central . Developing but not finished.
Connecting: Central is the main connector; connecting the east and west sides. I-4 may visibly be a divider but it doesn't even touch Central, it runs above it. So the people can move freely down Central without any interruption. Expanded environment: In general our need for social space for arts, sports, and entertainment had grown. The city expanded to the west because the land and area need revitalization, expanding the east environment over to the west to revive it.
