Austin Peay State University students, faculty and staff made many adjustments to conduct all classes online as a result of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The pandemic has also caused many members of the APSU campus community to experience unique personal difficulties in their lives. In response to this need, the Govs Give Back Fund was created. This initiative is intended to provide urgent financial assistance for students, faculty and staff who have suffered severe economic, medical or similar hardships during COVID-19 and in other times of crisis.

COMING IN 2021 What If The comprehensive campaign for Austin Peay
Austin Peay State University is about to embark on a new philanthropic campaign, representing the most ambitious fundraising effort in the University’s 93-year history. Rapid technological advances are transforming the modern workforce, redefining the skills APSU graduates will need to successfully compete once they leave campus. This change is taking place while the University is still adjusting to the region’s booming population, which has led to record enrollments at Austin Peay over the last few years. To continue providing students with a high-quality education, while also maintaining the University’s distinct culture, Austin Peay needs to adapt to these new realities. Initiatives for the campaign will include student success scholarships, faculty research support and facility improvements.
