Govs Gatherings Each year, the APSU Alumni Relations Office, University Advancement and APSU administration (including faculty and staff) meet with fellow APSU friends and alumni on campus and around the country. Types of events held throughout the year include alumni receptions, fundraising events, networking events, homecoming activities, reunions, NAA board meetings, pregame/sporting events and chapter-sponsored activities. This past COVID year brought with it many obstacles when it came to hosting our traditional Govs Gatherings. So APSU staff and faculty were creative in their engagement initiatives. We met with alumni, friends and supporters online and virtually to remain engaged and connected. It’s now fall of 2021, and we are back on campus. We look forward to meeting with all of our alumni and friends

In conjunction with our OVC football spring schedule, we again highlighted and recognized our 2020 Outstanding Alumni Award Recipients. Outstanding Service: Brad & Jan Kirtley and Joey Smith. Outstanding Young Alumni: Ashley Williams and Dr. Diarese George. Outstanding Alumni: Dr. Camille Holt and Joe Giles.
