Currently is part of the European Solar Telesco pe (EST) control system design software team
Software engineer from the University of La Laguna (ULL), with a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and Mathe matics (URV-UOC). She started working in the private sector once she finished her degree in 2014. Then came the opportu nity to collaborate with the FCGULL (Fundación Canaria Ge neral de la Universidad de La Laguna) and ESA (European Space Agency) with the project “Assessment of Plenoptic Re focusing Methods for 3D Vision-Based Relative Navigation” (2016). This was presented at the ESA’s Clean Space Indus trial Days 2017. From that experience she realized that her in terest in research had grown, so she was completing her spe cialization master’s degree while working in a technology-ba sed startup as a software engineer (2021). Currently, she is part of the EST software team where she is working on the design of the telescope control system.
She is now a member of the European Solar Telescope sof tware team and actively participates in outreach programmes to raise awareness of the role of women in STEM areas.
