More than 500,000 refugess are hosted by the Dadaab camps. Arrival rates frequently exceed 1,000 people a day. Thsi has placed additional strain on existing resources. 20 years have passed since the camps opened. Aid, security, access to resources, and exponential growth remian areas of focus for camp administrators and aid agencies.
