Till we meet again, Mr. Ambassador!

H.E. Mohamed Abdalla Alraeesi has returned to his home country, after completing his assignment as Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Hellenic Republic in September 2020. We had the pleasure of having Mr. Alraeesi as a guest at several of our events and we gladly took part, on several occasions, in functions organized by his Embassy.

During his tenure, we have followed his active engagements at all levels, the most important of which being his notable contribution to enhancing the cooperation between Greece and the United Arab Emirates.

H.E. Mohamed Alraeesi has had long-standing military and diplomatic careers which stretched over a period of three decades. He started his career as the Chief of the Technical Supply Division of the Air Force in 1991 and went on to become, in 2001, the Military Attaché at the UAE Embassy in France. In 2006, he took up his assignment as Deputy Commander of Military Works in UAE.

His diplomatic career started in June 2008 when he was designated as the UAE Ambassador in Belarus. In 2010, he continued as a UAE Ambassador in France and in 2014, the Ambassador Alraeesi was appointed as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in his country.

Over the years, His Excellency has participated in many international conferences and meetings in various capacities. He holds a Master’s degree in Military Strategy and apart from his native Arabic, he is fluent in English and French.

We, at the Arab Hellenic Chamber, would like to extend our gratitude for his support of our Chamber and we seize this opportunity to express our best and warmest wishes for his future endeavours, both, in his professional and personal life.

Mr Ambassador, we will stay in touch.

Ambassador Alraeesi and our Secretary General, Mr. Rashad Mabger, during our 4th Workshop “Doing Business with the Arab World”, March 2019
