23rd Arab-German Business Forum

Berlin, October 26th to 28th, 2020

Our sister-chamber, the Ghorfa Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing its 23rd Arab-German Business Forum in Berlin, from October 26th to 28th with the aim of exchanging information, discussing perspectives, and strengthening Arab-German cooperation.

The event is held under the patronage of the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, H.E. Peter Altmaier, and will provide a unique stage to initiate promising business perspectives and intensify existing economic ties between Germany and the Arab world.

There is a growing understanding that only collaboration and joint growth will create a secure and stable framework which is much needed by the economies of the Arab world and Germany.

In recent years, numerous examples of true partnership between Germany and the Arab world have emerged. While there may be tendencies of a much more inward-looking economic policy in certain countries, leading international institutions and economists agree that open economies must be the way forward. High-ranking panelists will address the challenges the pandemic has brought about and discuss how economic cooperation can overcome them.

The forum will take place physically with an additional digital live stream for those who will not be able to travel.
