The outcome has been very positive, as we received encouraging signs and feedback from those who attended this event and took part in the networking and B2B meetings. Iraq is full of potentials in virtually all sectors of its economy. It is up to the Greek side to further explore these opportunities and enhance its presence in the Iraqi market. Following this event, the Chamber has hosted a small delegation of Tunisian businesswomen, in coordination with the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Greece. More information, you can find in the following pages. Earlier this year, the Chamber provided its support to the exhibition of the renowned Arab artist, Jamal Joratli, hosted by Benaki Museum. Similarly, it is now giving its support to the exhibition of Jamal in Corfu Museum of Asian Art, which will take place from 18 June to 15 September 2016. We seize this opportunity to thank our membercompany “Helios Pasta” for sponsoring this issue and we look forward to our next set of activities with the same spirit, enthusiasm and dedication in order to serve our member-companies the best way possible. When Castor, the mythic hero built after oracle, Castoria city, and oriented region’s sovereignty by establishing a confederacy, he began thinking expansion to conquer new lands by building two new sites in the plain of Pelagonia (where the Battle of Pelagonia took place in September 1259, between the Empire of Nicaea and the Despotate of Epirus, Sicily and the Principality of Achaea). The members of the confederation, more than 3000, had patron god Hephaestus, who brought from Sicily Italy three Cyclops as his assistants to build the new territories.

Mrs. Katerina Mousbeh, Managing Director of Mideast, stated: “Nowadays the turn of the people’s preference to online travel systems is undeniable. This fact alone makes our distinctions praiseworthy as this is the best proof that the human factor in customer service really offers that extra something that will make it stand out from an impersonal booking system. Once more we prove that our people, the team of Mideast, is our greatest strength.” Mideast people, utilizing the finest electronic systems, provide travel and conference services to the company’s clientele in Greece and abroad.

People over systems is the key differentiator
