Yesterday, Today and Forever. Twenty-two years ago, the Gulf Area was on a new ascent as a source of fine Arabian bloodstock. In our May 1992 issue, former publisher Nat Gorham had this to say about the region’s place in the world of Arabian horses:
“ … Enter the Arabian horse, one of the truly golden keys to the entrance gate of the family of nations. All the muscle and might of the jumbo profits of the petrodollar cannot replace the satisfaction of having that fantastic Arabian filly in your stall in Riyadh, Doha, or Dubai … and what better representative for the Arab nations’ sake in the new world order?”
