Harrison was chief steward of the Arabian Racing Cup program, founding member/creator of the Darley Award program for Arabian racehorses of the year, and founding trustee of The Arabian Jockey Club, in addition to having owned and operated his own Sa-Arabet Farms. Former AHW publisher Nat Gorham interviewed Harrison back in April of 1989.
