From The Founder Since 1995, our mission has been simple and unchanged - blend traditional craftsmanship, with sustainable materials and methods. We believe this is the best way to deliver quality gear for the pursuit of snowboarding, skateboarding, and the good times that happen along the way. We take great pleasure in highlighting athletes and artists who support this approach, and contribute so significantly to our efforts. This mindful, more collective style ensures the planet is always considered, as we develop products for chasing life’s great lines. Over the years, we’ve managed to build an honest reputation for performance, worth, and a timeless style rooted in our long-standing use of natural materials. The only way this happened was by sticking to the original vision for Arbor, and partnering with our dealers. I want to thank each of you for that partnership, your friendship, and the ongoing dialog that drives so much progression. If you have not done so, please take a look at our Returning Roots program, which you helped make possible. Since day one, Arbor has committed a portion of every sale to rebuilding forests. We are not simply planting trees, we’re working to restore Hawaii’s koa forests. In doing so we’re giving back to both the planet and the people that got us sliding sideways in the first place. The Arbor Skateboards Story Arbor was founded in 1995 to focus on the environment in the construction of the most mindfully crafted products possible. For 24 years, we have used sustainable forest products to achieve this objective. Along the way, we select the most responsible processes and components possible. Since day one, we have used proceeds from the sale of our line to fund the preservation of indigenous forests - giving back much more than we responsibly take out.

We work with a wide range of fast growing, highly renewable Wood and Bamboo materials obtained from well-managed forests and other sustainable, non-native sources of supply.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has certified that the wood and bamboo materials used in our skateboards are derived from responsibly managed forests.

processed with modern methods that stretch the material. By maximizing these resources, we minimize our impact on the planet. Less is always more.

The new Vibram Collection from Arbor is the most utilitarian collaboration we have ever presented. It draws directly from Vibram’s 80 years of experience as the premier interface between our feet and the paths we take. Arbor is using Vibram INVRS as an alternative grip solution, utilizing their EcoStep material made from a minimum of 30% recycled rubber. We’re keeping it in the traditional location between your feet and the road, but on top of the skateboard rather than under your shoe. In this application, it provides durable and lasting grip for wet or dry skating. It’s comfortable underfoot when skating barefoot, yet provides performance even when skating with shoes. It also provides a great dampening layer for smooth commutes, whether barefoot of not. The Vibram Collection introduces a material and heritage you trust, to a skate product known for its quality and craftsmanship; a nice improvement to an important tool in your outdoor kit.

Sucrose Initiative
The Sucrose Initiative is a stand alone wheel program. It was created to introduce alternative, environmentally friendly components that improve wheel performance, while reducing the petroleum footprint of urethane, and the environmental impact of slides and long term wear.Our focus is delivering team rider based designs, creating performance and durability for a wide range of conditions, and helping our customers skate longer and spend less money in the process. Each Sucrose Formula is made in part using a sugar-based curative. The Sucrose makes our wheels more resistant to deterioration. Hence, they last longer than competitive wheels designed for similar performance.
Cores
The Groovetube Core has a wide, fiberglass reinforced, “tube” profile that allows the wheel to hold its shape for enhanced performance across a range of conditions. Expect improved grip, roll speed, and better sliding characteristics. The 35mm core means you get more urethane on each wheel for longer wheel life. The Revolver Core is the go-to racing core in our lineup. With a 40mm width, and fiberglass reinforcing, it delivers support while improving roll speed and acceleration for race-level performance. The Revolver Core is a mere 38mm tall, providing more urethane on the wheel to keep it rolling fast over longer distances.
Formulas
Riders can count on the Speed Formula to maintain exceptional performance when straight lining hills. It provides quick hookup and release, as well as an amazing amount of grip to build speed while keeping you in control when it matters most. The Thane Formula is for all the freeriders out there that live for long slides. With less grip and more slip, this formula is ideal for drifting down your local hill and leaving thane lines from top to bottom.

The Highlands is our new “big-race” wheel. It’s a whopping 75mm tall with a considerably larger contact patch that delivers improved grip and speed. The square lip reduces flexibility while increasing roll speed and resilience for high performance skating on big mountain roads.
The Summit is Arbor’s technical downhill wheel; an offset design that provides a rare balance of grip and drift performance. A leaf-spring sidewall and mid-angle lip work together to create the rebound and power needed to consistently hug the road.
The Vice is our offset freeride wheel designed to deliver versatile slide performance at high speeds. The round lip allows you to choose your line, release with ease, and conquer any surface the road throws at you.
The Spud rises to all challenges, from mountain passes to local freeride spots. It holds a clean line due to the center-set configuration and rolls fast thanks to its chunky shape. If you like a slippery wheel with tons of control, the Spud is for you!
