PART 1 - Initial part consisting the design of the base shape which can be modified later anytime
PART 3 - Main part where niches are created at the intersections the board thickness, tolerance and safety
DIGITAL FABRICATION - PARAMETRIC WAFFLE
The shape was created in Rhino and then the 3D model was converted into waffles using a grasshopper script. An MDF board was used as the material and the tolerance & stability of the model were the constraints while model making. The numbering in axes has been considered during laser cutting.
