troduces new modes of design, and opens our minds to new ideas. So far i have been experimenting with Rhino, a program I have never thought would be important to me in any way, but after several trials and tutorials, I find it a very succesful program that is user friendly and helps in expressing ideas and concpets easily. This course has showed me how sketches and abstractions could be implented and shown clearly through digital programs.

I am Meiram Hussien, an Architecture student in the American university of Cairo. I decided to join architecture school during my second year of college. I was a very lost student at first, and i found myself applying for architecture courses for i love challenges and new experimentations. So far architecture has been tough for me, taking away my social life and replacing it with work.....But it’s okay, i managed to get through 3 years and cannot wait to graduate!! Corona has ruined this semester for us, as usual, for i was very excited to take this course in person, yet so far we are managing to get through this as a team. This storybook explains my journey through a very interesting course; Digital Design Studio and Workshop. A course that should be taught to each and every architecture student, for it in-

We were asked to design a mobile shelter for the homeless, in Minya- Egypt. We had to take an idea from Nature and transform its growth process into a concept that will then inspire our design. Therefore we chose the chameleon with all its various characteristics.

Startinng project two, we were first asked to explore using different materials and try out different forms and different ways to reach a goal. Throughout this phase we learnt a lot about the use of maaterials especially durig the failures. v
