It is temporal articulation and circulation of space which not only creates a richer sensibility of spatial occupation but also suggests how spatial limits are expanded to include formally unimagined situations in dense urban conditions.

Informal Urbanism in our perspective
An unforeseen change or situation which brings in unimagined population in already dense urban condition. This unforseen change results in solutions which aren’t long term and it leads to major urban issues like white Elephent.
The Fifa World cup, Olympics Games and similar events often serve as catalysts for the regeneration of urban areas and for the construction of new infrastructure and sport facilities.
Aftermath
For two golden weeks, the eyes of the world are trained in the mega event. Next week, the media spotlight swings back.
But what happens once the athletes are done and the last spectators goes home?

In the past, World cup & Olympics games have fostered the creation of “white elephants”
Large numbers of elaborate stadiums and infrastructures, whose full capacity would not be utilized after the events and whose long-term maintenance costs were unjustified.

The Silverdome used to be quite active both of to previous tanants,the lions and pistons, moved to new stadium. This left the owner with an empty pit for year as the city of detroit endured its economic catastrophe. Eventually they stripped the stadium down and auctioned off what they cold.

Why we choose FIFA?
There are many stadium left to rot and in state of disrepair we found that the major cause behind this is the lack of flexibility in design spaces, hence we thought of coming up with a pre planned design for the future use. Despite of wasting a massive amount of public money, we thought of giving it back to the society.
Issues
The infrastructure left behind is in the condition of disrepair (white elephant).
A large amount of money, resource (materials), massive man power gets involved which at the end goes down the drain.
SITE
For a developing country, the city perfectly demonstrates urbanisation in India. The metropolis of Mumbai is often called Slumbai or Slumbay with probably the largest number of slum-dwellers in the world (over six milion).
Challenge
Our Challenge – To explore new spatial organizations that allow greater flexibility in stadium’s form and function. This flexibility support different scenarios of the stadium life.
Socially Responsible venues that can play an important role in the economic, social and cultural improvement of the specific urban area.
