BOOK ON LINES AND COLOURS

INDRĖ BARŠAUSKAITĖ Architectural Artistic drawings

20014-2016

This book is a compilation of drawings and photos produced during creative period of 2 years in New York City. Instead of reading this as a Portfolio, experience it as a short session of power derived from lines and colour. Usualy the right combination of lines and colours result in a rational image and meaning in Human brain; sometimes they end up having no meaning and causing dislike. The purpose of lines in this book is to express some architectural ideas, as well as to entertain.

State of mind and the most powerful tool to express it 2016

AFFORDABLE HOUSING NEW YORK, 2016 When was the moment when economic/political aspects owercame the mental/ social values of a building? Affordable housing is the best example of insensitivity for humanity development. It is perfectly designed to serve one`s needs, but does not serve for his/her self-education, development, improvement. This project offers the most clear plan structure for building and units, but it leaves the gap spaces for changes to happen/for people to think and rethink.
