Within this project we were tasked to think about architecture in the broader context of the city while creatively thinking beyond individual buildings and instead to that of the urban fabric. Aiming to analyse the current urban context and produce an urban strategy to provide a coherent, structured composition of design ideas that collectively act as a catalyst for the regeneration of the Fabric District, by proposing a series of interventions and proposals for new spaces of urban activity. Patchwalks was create a stronger link between the linear park and food market by cutting through the TJ Hughes building creating an arcade within.
