Digital Diagram

Step two generetates a geometric representation of the spreadsheet data. The circles have the correct area in square meters and the thickness of the connecting lines mirrors the strenght of the connection between the spaces. Colors are further asssigned to illustrate the different programmatic departments.

At this stage the user can already grasp the interdependencies between in the brief without much effort. Any change in the brief, or the spreadsheet data would be directly updated in the digital diagram, thus creating constant link serving the designer.
