Darling is CEO and cofounder of The Architect’s Newspaper, celebrating its 15th year. The A|N media group consists of print and digital publications covering architecture and design news, as well as the Facades+ and TECH+ conferences. As A|N’s publisher, Darling won the AIA National Collaboration Award, Grassroots Preservation Award, and ASLA NY’s President’s Award. She began her publishing career as director of print production for The Gap’s European markets. She holds a BS from the University of Texas at Austin.
DIONNE DARLING Associate Publisher, The Architect’s Newspaper
Dionne Darling is the associate publisher for The Architect’s Newspaper. Darling has over 25 years experience in business development and sales and handles B2B relationships across the west and southwest regions for A|N. She lives in Arlington, Texas.
Kramer has been with The Architect’s Newspaper for over 6 years, expanding Facades+ from a single conference to a dozen. With A|N, she has co-founded the new TECH+ Expo. Previously, Kramer was Co-Chair of Union Square Community Coalition. A Miami Beach native, Kramer graduated from Parsons School of Design.
MARTY WOOD Program Director, The Architect’s Newspaper
Wood is the Program Director for the Facades+ and TECH+ conferences. He also helps manage special projects and initiatives for The Architect’s Newspaper and helps facilitate the overall efforts of the marketing and sales teams. Additionally, he is an contributing writer for design publications such as The Architect’s Newspaper and Metropolis. Wood has a B.A in Communications from San Francisco State University and an M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.

Alspach is a principal in Arup’s Seattle office and is Arup’s global skills leader for environmental and building physics. As a mechanical engineer, he is a specialist in the design of low energy buildings focusing on HVAC, energy systems, thermal comfort, and the indoor environment.

Belcher is a software developer at Robert McNeel & Associates, the authors of Rhino and Grasshopper. Before joining McNeel, he was a founding member of LMN Tech Studio. Prior to that, Belcher was a researcher at the UW’s Human Interface Technology Lab working on augmented reality interfaces.
ANDY BRIDGE Director R & D, Janicki
Bridge has 30-plus years of experience in composites manufacturing including tooling design, material selection, and process engineering. He is the director of research & development across all aerospace, military, space, and industrial sectors. At Janicki, he is also responsible for business development, sales, and program management to the marine, wind energy, alternative energy, transportation, architectural, and infrastructure markets.

McClintock has an extensive depth and breadth of experience of the built environment on 4 continents. She has designed buildings as a structural engineer, mechanical engineer, and facade engineer. Trained in both architecture and engineering, she bridges between the professions and drives success for projects that require seamless integration of form and function. After 15 years with Arup, McClintock started her own business providing facade design-engineering and related sustainability consulting.

Miller is a principal at LMN Architects with a focus on civic, education, and infrastructure projects in complex urban contexts. Her background in preservation and adaptive reuse informs a sensitivity to place, culture, advocacy, and public process that permeates her work. Miller has served as a board member of Seattle’s Pioneer Square Preservation board and is a part-time lecture at the University of Washington.
Payson joined Olson Kundig in 2004 and has worked on projects including the Century Project for the Space Needle, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center, [storefront] OK, and many others across North America. From large cultural projects to temporary design interventions, Blair is able to distill large, complex projects into distinct culminating moments. He credits this appreciation of key design details to his formative years working under Renzo Piano in Paris.

Choong Ng is cofounder and CEO of Vertex.AI, a technology company putting deep learning into every device. Prior to Vertex, Ng’s work included roles as senior technologist in software, computer security, and distributed systems.
Architect, LMN Architects
Rufe is an architect and Associate at LMN Architects. She embraces the complexity of large civic projects and is interested in how social context, new technologies, city growth, and regional ecologies all contribute to Seattle’s urban design and architecture. Her current focus is on the Washington State Convention Center addition.
