MARGI G. NOTHARD
Founder + Design Director / Glavovic Studio
Since establishing Glavovic Studio in 1999, Margi G. Nothard has made an impact on communities through resilient and socially conscious architecture, art, and urban design. As Founder and Design Director, her studio has produced a diverse portfolio of projects – affordable housing, large-scale parks, and commercial spaces, museums, urban interventions, and public art commissions. Her contemplative, broad-based work explores complex social, cultural, and environmental conditions within unique landscapes, such as Florida and California. She believes that architecture is for the public at large as much as the end user, should transcend prescriptive programming and maximize design innovation. Her engagement in the community goes beyond the studio through teaching, boards participation in mentorship programs, public lectures, art and architecture exhibitions, and guided tours.
