Jeffrey E. Huber, AIA, Assoc. ASLA, NCARB, LEED AP is a Principal and Director of Urban Design, Landscape Architecture and Planning at Brooks + Scarpa Architects where he also manages the firm’s South Florida office. He is also an Associate Professor and Director of the School of Architecture at Florida Atlantic University. Huber’s work combines ecological, landscape, urban, and architectural design with a focus on resiliency and adaptation. His design and research have garnered 75+ national and international design awards.
PAT BOSCH Founding Partner / Perkins&Will
A founding partner of the Miami studio of Perkins&Will since 1996, Pat Bosch LEED AP BD+C leads the office as its Design Director. Internationally recognized for her design acumen and collaborative work style, Pat routinely brings together diverse groups of stakeholders to generate ideas and find common ground; design solutions emerge out of the strong partnerships she builds with her clients. Pat takes a humanistic and environmentally responsible approach to design that is supported by research and meticulously executed process. She combines edgy creativity with a careful examination of every project’s program, context, region, and local culture to produce design solutions so innovative that they consistently challenge the status quo. Her work has been honored with several national and international design awards, and has been featured in architectural magazines and industry journals around the world.
BOB FORD Regional Account Manager –North America / Eastman
Bob Ford is the North American Regional Account Manager for Eastman’s Advanced Materials Division. In this role, he manages the sales of Saflex and Vanceva interlayers to archtectural laminators in the United States and Canada. Bob has been in the glass industry for over 20 years and has extensive experience working with architects, glazing contractors, and glass fabricators. He has worked in the fabrication and coating side of the industry with Interpane Glass and Viracon, as well as in the systems testing arena with Solutia.
MICHAEL FRECHETTE Associate / Sasaki
Mike is an architect and member of the sustainability leaders group at Sasaki, an interdisciplinary architecture, planning and landscape design firm. In his 15 years of practice, he has worked on projects across a broad range of cultural, multifamily, and commercial programs of varied scales and clientele, with a common thread being a focus on the design and implementation of sustainable strategies, robust building envelopes, and effective project delivery.

GARY KRUGER Vice President / TLC Engineering Solutions
Gary is the Director of TLC’s Cocoa office, as well as serving on the firm’s Board of Directors and overseeing the firm’s Dallas office. He also supports projects as a Senior Structural Engineer. He is intimately involved in developing new projects and clients for TLC and remains active through the design and construction process.
Daniel pursues authenticity in the places we make and spaces we inhabit. He believes in an affirmative architecture that celebrates the optimism of the human spirit. Daniel’s ability to synthesize multiple constraints into clear, expressive solutions results in an architecture that resonates with each place, environment, and culture. Since joining the practice in 2005, Daniel’s project leadership includes a diverse range of building types, including academic, retail, residential, interiors, and civic projects. His leadership approach encourages open and inclusive collaboration with fellow design team members, consultants, and clients. He takes great interest in the craft of building, embracing sustainable solutions and innovative use of materials to realize aspirations and requirements of place and program.
GIOVANNI MONTI President / GM&PGiovanni Monti is a highlyqualified professional who has been responsible for the window and glazing designs manufacturing and installations for many internationally acclaimed construction projects in both Europe and the USA. A native of Italy with a Doctorate and Master of Science in Engineering from the world renowned University of Bologna he is now based in Miami and has led window installation projects in many of the towers that form the ever changing dramatic Miami skyline together with projects in Las Vegas. His skills and experience in all areas of construction place him in a unique position to contribute across disciplines in the conception, production and realization of the most ambitious projects, bringing them in on time, on budget and with the finest degree of quality and aesthetic presence.
GEORGE MURPHY Associate / Bohlin Cywinski JacksonAn Associate with Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, George has delivered some of the practice’s most consequential projects over the last 14 years, including work for Georgia Tech, UCLA, private residences, and most recently the high-performance University of Florida Malachowsky Data Science and Information Technology Building. George stewards complex projects to successful outcomes through careful detailing, proactive client engagement, environmental responsibility, and mentorship.

TIM NASS VP of Sales / SAFTI FIRSTTim Nass has nearly 30 years of experience in the architectural glazing industry. As the Vice President of Sales at SAFTI FIRST, leading USA-manufacturer of fire rated glass and framing systems, he brings his extensive knowledge and expertise when working closely with architects, consultants, general contractors and glaziers to deliver a code-compliant glazing solution that meets all the aesthetic, performance and budget requirements of the project. Tim also oversees SAFTI FIRST’s global network of architectural sales representatives.

Since establishing Glavovic Studio in 1999, Margi G. Nothard has made an impact on communities through resilient and socially conscious architecture, art, and urban design. As Founder and Design Director, her studio has produced a diverse portfolio of projects–affordable housing, large-scale parks, and commercial spaces, museums, urban interventions, and public art commissions. Her contemplative, broadbased work explores complex social, cultural, and environmental conditions within unique landscapes, such as Florida and California.

Associate Principal / Thornton Thomasetti
Silverio Patrizi joined Thornton Tomasetti in 2011 and is experienced in the structural analysis and design of different façade systems. He manages design consultation, detail development, specifications, shop drawings review and site inspections. Silverio has performed extensive research on the New York City Energy Conservation Code [NYCECC] and is considered Thornton Tomasetti in-office expert in providing analysis to prove project compliance with the NYCECC. He collaborates with multiple practices across the firm, providing expertise in thermal performance analysis, structural glass analysis, cladding and glazing material selection, and detailing of custom facade systems.

Founder / Shulman + Associates
Allan Shulman is an architect, author, editor and curator. He also serves as a Professor at the University of Miami School of Architecture. Allan’s research focuses on themes of modernism, tropicality and urbanism. Published works include Building Bacardi: Architecture, Art and Identity, Miami Modern Metropolis: Paradise and Paradox in Midcentury Architecture and Planning; The Discipline of Nature: Architect Alfred Browning Parker in Florida; and as a co-author, The Making of Miami Beach: 1933-1942: The Architecture of Lawrence Murray Dixon; and Miami Architecture: An AIA Guide.

Senior Project Manager / Brooks + Scarpa Architects
Jeet is a Senior Project Manager at Brooks + Scarpa Architects in the South Florida office. He has over 19 years of experience in planning and designing environments in civic, educational, and community settings. He is a registered architect in the state of Florida, studied internationally in Italy and holds the degrees of Bachelors of Design and Masters of Architecture from the University of Florida.
JACQUELINE GONZALEZ TOUZET
Founding Principal / Touzet Studio Jacqueline has a reputation for strong design and professional leadership in architecture, master planning and interior design. Her approach to each design is based on a rigorous understanding of the people, the climate, the culture, and the history of a place. She has been recognized for her design leadership throughout her career – as Miami AIA’s Young Architect of the Year and Architect of the Year. A champion for preparing the community for coastal resilience and designing a livable and sustainable future, she is the Chair of the Resiliency Committee for the Board of MRED (University of Miami School of Real Estate, Development and Urbanism), a Trustee for History Miami Museum, an AIA advisor to the Sea Level Rise committee, and a frequent guest critic at University of Miami. She has designed award-winning mixed use projects in Asia, Europe and in the USA.
MICHAEL TROSSET Director of Architectural Systems / Gate Precast
Michael works with design teams and contractors to ensure cost-effective best practices are used in the design of prefabricated concrete systems. Since joining GATE in 2009, he has gained extensive experience managing precast projects while serving as project manager at the Kissimmee, FL plant for six years and as the manager of sales in the Southwest Division for five years. Moreover, he is a Grade 1 ACI Field Testing Technician and a PCI Quality Control Technician Level 1.
