THE FORWARD SAINTS CAPITAL CAMPAIGN IS WELL UNDERWAY with major projects already complete. St. Andrew’s students are learning and growing in new facilities as impressive as the school’s exceptional programming and faculty.
THE DOORS ALREADY OPENED AND THE RIBBONS ALREADY CUT ARE ONLY THE BEGINNING.
THERE IS STILL SO MUCH MORE TO COME in this ambitious vision, which totals $34 million in new projects, and there is still an opportunity for you to be a part of the greatest transformation in St. Andrew’s history. WHEN YOU JOIN THE FORWARD SAINTS CAMPAIGN, you’ll help build the present and shape the future of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and play a role in enhancing education in Mississippi and beyond.
“FORWARD SAINTS ADDRESSES THE CURRENT NEEDS AND THE FUTURE POTENTIAL OF ST. ANDREW’S AND THE GREATER COMMUNITY, AND POSITIONS ST. ANDREW’S TO ONCE AGAIN RAISE THE BAR FOR EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE. NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT TO THE FUTURE OF ST. ANDREW’S EPISCOPAL SCHOOL THAN THE FORWARD SAINTS CAMPAIGN.” GEORGE PENICK, HEAD OF SCHOOL

5TH GRADE LOFT
LEARNING COMMONS
THE 5TH GRADE LOFT will be an area of classrooms on the North Campus dedicated to students making the exciting transition from the St. Andrew’s South Campus to the North Campus and from the Lower School to Middle School.
THE LEARNING COMMONS will encourage group study and col laboration among students and will house student services – includ ing guidance counselors, college counselors, learning facilitators, chaplains, and nurses – in one convenient location.
“ALTHOUGH OUR FIFTH GRADERS love being included in activities at the North Campus, they will benefit from a learning environment tailored just for them and their needs. The 5th Grade Loft will serve as a bridge between Lower School and Middle School and provide a sense of security as our fifth graders gain confidence navigating the North Campus.” — ANN MARSHALL, Fifth
“THE LEARNING COMMONS will be a place where collaboration and shared resources strengthen inquiry and knowledge, and a place that will help our students grow spiritually, intellectually, and personally. In the learning commons, we will see the St. Andrew’s mission in action.” — LAUREN E. POWELL, M.Ed., Ed.S., NCC, Upper School Counselor

CHAPEL
OPENED 2016
EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER AND DISCOVERY CENTER IN JUST TWO SHORT YEARS, the St. Andrew’s community iden tified the need, raised the necessary funds, completed design and construction, and opened doors to the premier early child hood center in Mississippi. “FROM THE TIME WE FIRST LEARNED about plans for the Early Childhood Center to our son actually starting there in 2016, we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently St. Andrew’s acted. Rarely do you see a return on an investment in one year, but this was an exception!” — Mickey Paduda, St. Andrew’s Parent
OPENED 2017
ATHLETICS AND RECREATION CENTER (ARC) THE 65,000-SQUARE FOOT, state-of-the-art ARC offers stu dent athletes the best in training and competition facilities, provides opportunities for more St. Andrew’s students to par ticipate in sports, and supports a healthier student body. “THESE PROJECTS ARE MORE than just new buildings, they’re the St. Andrew’s vision reflected in brick and mortar.” — COACH BURNEY KING, Assistant Athletic Director
DINING COMMONS A RENOVATED, EXPANDED dining commons will keep lunch lines to a minimum, accommodate an entire school division at one time, and offer private dining space for school conferences and meetings. “AS AN ALUMNUS, it’s exciting to help shape the place that was so influential in my formative years. St. Andrew’s has always placed great emphasis on the importance of architecture in the experience of learning, and my own experience at St. Andrew’s has shaped my practice of architecture to this day.” — JACK ALLIN ’96, Architect and Current St. Andrew’s Parent, Wier Boerner Allin Architecture, Architects for the dining commons, the 5th Grade Loft, and the chapel
A NEW EPISCOPAL CHAPEL with a graceful bell tower will become the centerpiece of the North Campus. The chapel will be a sacred space for prayer or quiet contemplation, as well as a welcoming site for small services, concerts, weddings, and baptisms. The chapel will represent St. Andrew’s Episcopal identity and will also include space for private prayer and reflection in keeping with our students’ diverse faith traditions. “THE CHAPEL WILL STAND at the center of the campus and will be central to our life together – a place where everyone in our community will be welcomed to celebrate, to give thanks, to worship, or to gather together during difficult times. The chapel will speak to the value that St. Andrew’s places on community. We genuinely care for each other, and this chapel will be a symbol of that care.” — THE REV. KIRK LAFON, Chaplain
