COLUMN Love to hate me or hate to love me- it remain your problems We all seem to be concerned about what other people are saying about us, we seem to be put ourselves under unnecessary pressure about what is being said about us, how we live our lives, the way we dress up, our looks, how we speak . There is no need to worry about the manner in which people perceive us; it is your life after all. Why matter about what is being said about you? You are a living human, so people should talk about you. It is time we put our lives first and show the ‘haters’’ that we were not brought into this world by default, and start showing off the ‘I AM’’ attitude. People will always badmouth you because they know that they cannot beat you or be better than you, so the best thing to do is to keeping on shinning in whatever you do. Well jealousy does exist, so when people start talking about you behind your backs shows that you are doing something right and they envy you. Truth of the matter is that it is really hard for them to admit it. Their only mission is to try by all means to pull you down, keep on flourishing with or without their hate. Prove them wrong by showing them your true colors. People would pretend to like you, knowing very well that they are aiming to destroy your life. These are those people who will show you false smile, cry crocodile tears with you when you are down or drop you when you are in trouble and sneak around telling people about your problems. This
happen most to people who like you, not all of them actually like you since for some is just pre misguidance, all you have to do is to watch out. People will hate you for your success, looks, confidence, personality, excellence and actually for being’ you’ (whether you are talkative, talented, straight, homosexual act). So they find all of these aspects very distractive and since they cannot handle or deal with them they turn to hate you and start belittling you, saying demeaning things, discouraging you and try hard to manipulate you by turning all the good stuff you do into bad things. That really is the result of jealousy. Through it all, just keep on killing it and they will eventually suffocate. ARDOR TALENT Ardor magazine hereby infuse your eyes with one of a remarkable artist. Article by Motshana Dikeledi
Lutchas did not know that he had the work of arts within himself until he was given a home take project in his secondary years. He managed to get his teacher impressed. His teacher then brought light to him to discover his talent. That kept him going and continued to do his work persistently. He then started helping his younger siblings with projects of such, as a way of giving.
Lutchas Mokgobi, a twenty three year old artist was born in Bulobedu in a small village called Madumane. He grabs a multitude of people with his handwork skill. He drafts houses and globe holders. He spent most of his spare time doing his creative work of arts. Most of his samples are made of boxes, rocks and sticks that he uses to decorate his entire project.
He takes his handwork skill as a way of serving the lord. He says’’ I do church but I take my work as a way of giving thanks to the father, because if it was not for his love, I wouldn’t do what I am doing’ ’just like other artists, the work can be much tougher when one get short of the equipment, he does not let that discourage him, and he sometimes ask people especially primary children to give him painting powders that he find useful to make his sample more beautiful. Same as any person on earth, Lutchas want to see him successful as one of the best artist in the world, expressing himself through the work of art. He likes to draft not just a house but other things, Many people use his creative to decorate their houses. That keeps him growing and gaining more experience, and he want to learn more. Amanda pushes her way on screen
COVER STORY “I have always been an over achiever”
By Maphothoma Tetelo
If you work hard and believe in yourself, anything is possible. Amanda Manku is one of those people who live by these words.
Amanda was born in 1992, in Zebediela Limpopo. Affectionately known for her role as Elizabeth Thobakgale on SABC 1 drama series Skeem Saam, she is not just an actress, but a daughter, sister, friend, sports presenter and a film editor. She is the elder sister of 5 children and this was a motivation for her to thrive “I am the eldest sister of 5 children and that has been the driving force in me wanting to work hard and be a positive role model to my siblings” she said. At a young age the family moved to Johannesburg, where she started schooling.
She attended primary at Dowling Avenue Primary School in Westbury Johannesburg. “It was a fruitful journey, the one thing that I remember about primary is when I started and coming from Limpopo I didn’t know how to speak English and I would misinterpret a lot of things. This is also where the spirit of wanting to be an over achiever was instilled” she said.
She later attended her high school at Die Burger High School, where she took part in almost every activity, “I played netball, soccer, was in choir, debate top 10 and part of the RCL so I was an active child”
When the director say action and someone just crack a joke
She obtained a BA degree in Motion Pictures from Africa Film Drama Art (AFDA) in Johannesburg. Her first television appearance was at the age of 16 as a talk show host for Soweto TV. She later worked as a presenter on YOTV, Matrics uploaded and the educational show Geleza Nathi. She is now an actress and presenter on Supersport.
Getting to know Amanda better. Why an acting career?
“It started from primary school where I had the love for drama and I had desires to venture into it professionally. I was blessed enough to get the opportunity to do that. I started out as a presenter and then ventured into acting, this was a good way for me to get my foot into the industry and I knew it would help me in the long run: 8 years later and I have loved every minute of it.” What do you do besides acting?
“I am a film editor by profession so when my schedule permits I take on freelancing work in that department. I am also a sports presenter on Supersport.” What/who motivates you?
My family, they are my pillar of strength and my reason for continuing. The support they give me motivates me to work hard. My siblings motivate and encourage me to work even harder because as the eldest daughter I have no
choice but to succeed and ensure that they follow in my hardworking footsteps. What do you do during your spare time?
During my spare time I spend time with my family or watch football.
What do you like or hate about your job?
I hate the expectations that come with the fame and I like the way I am challenged each day that I go to work in terms of ensuring that I grow in line of work. I have also managed to get a voice and be able to speak to the youth, I visit schools where we motivate youngsters and it is good that my job has given me the ability to speak and youngsters can listen to me due to what I do. Before you step out of the house what three items you always put in your bag?
“I do not carry a bag most of the time so that is a difficult question, my cellphone and a lip balm is a complete must.” She laughed. What do you fear most in life? God and failure.
Describe yourself in three words?
Hardworking, bubbly and friendly.
When time permits her to go have fun.
ENTERTAINMENT FAMILY CARNIVAL EXTRAVAGANZA By sekgololo moshibudi
They say family is the roots of all the deeds in life but there would not be such thing if it was not for moment like this. The moment that give family members a chance to bond and recover that lost connection to spent time together. There is nothing good to see people united and having fun. This is the time were people put other things aside but makes one of the best memories. Whoop!! Whoopie!! Kids having a roller coaster on the high roller. Polokwane Cricket Club is widely known having major festivals but this time around it was a low-key and chilled family carnival celebration. The carnival is a place where families come and have a good time together at a fun environment with other families, though it has been a chance for others to re-unite it was also a perfect time for kids to explore various activities other than those in their comfort zone and make more new friends. If this is not how you keep the family fun train going then we don’t know what will be. Besides all the fun games, food and entertainment, the most ultimate goal of the carnival was to celebrate the love, growth and sticking together of many families.
Family fun and bonding moments.
RELATIONSHIP
Love at first sight Ignoring or attending certain issues, it does not guarantee a long term relationship. By motshana Dikeledi
In a newly established relationship is easy to get caught up in the game of love and taking serious issues very lightly.New love is precarious in nature and it is suscepticle to problems. This is because at that stage, romance is still in the air, fall in love with the idea of relationship and understand that there are things to bare in mind before entering relationship . People turn blind eye with the attention they get from partners. Here are some things to keep in mind before entering relationships:
Don’t fill the void. You may be just been burnt by your previous relationship or have not yet been in relationship for a while, and you want someone . Well, that is not the best intention to be in a relationship. This is because a lot of people are going to get hurt. Ask youself if ever you want to fill the void or not .
Time. Time is of essence in the relationship. This entails lots of understanding,if you are transitioning in your life it may not be.Relationship requires more time.
time with your partner so failure to do so will eventually cost the relationship. You can not have time for other while you have less for yourself.
Commitment Many relationship collapses because of lack of commitment, so do not enter if you not ready to commit.
Past. Most people get into relationship for no apparent reason. It is easier to get over someone by finding someone new. Are you still hurt or thinking about your exlover? Well, it is not wise to enter into fresh relationship. People who are broken are too emotional and pieces of their heart are at stake. First heal yourself by letting go of the past.
Right reasons They may be good looking, funny and charming. Can you see yourself with them for a long term?.People should learn to guard their heart and also keep others heart in mind too. If you just want a relationship because you do not want to be alone for whatever reasons or hurt, you are just not ready.
RELATIONSHIP ARDOR READERS SHARE THEIR VIEWS “At first he was so loving, good to me, that I could not see other side of him. Things changed when he started to raise a hand on me. I wish I knew that before relationship” McGregor (24)
Rejoice (20)
“I wish I knew about his past so that I can accept him for who he really is” Hazel (21)
“Things I wish I knew before entering the relationship.”
“I wish I knew that in relationship there could be outside lover involved” Idah (22) “ ..The time I got into a relationship with my ex-lover, I was still on rebound needed distraction, he got so serious in me and I ended hurting him. I wish now I knew that relationship needs one to respect others feelings and honesty” Enid (22)
“I had a loving boyfriend who loved me, one day we got into a compromised situation where I failed to commit because I felt not ready to compromise”
“I wish I knew that a relationship needs one to commit, give each other time, and compromise. I broke up with my ex-lover because I was still naïve at that time” McDonald (23)
“I wish I knew that relationship need love, comforts and support.it could be an exciting experience that makes one to grow” Sekwati(19)

Breast cancer is an uncontrolled growth of breast cells. The growth becomes incontrollable without treatment ultimately resulting in the formation of tumor. What causes breast cancer?
Breast cancer mostly develops in women at the age of 50. About 80% of women diagnosed with breast cancer are above this age. Especially when women reach menopause, their hormones increase in the body. Therefore, we can consider age as strong cause of breast cancer. Other things can be lifestyle factors such as alcohol and smoking, and body weight can influence the development of breast cancer. Another factor can be a family history, if there was a family member who was once diagnosed
Keep weight check, being overweight can increase the risk of many different cancers including breast cancer, especially after menopause. Regularly exercise is the best way to help keep weight in the check. Being physically active will reduce the risk of cancer. Eating too much fruits and vegetables and avoiding too much alcohol can also reduce risk of cancer. For women who are in a period of breastfeeding, they must breastfeed for total of one year or more. SOUTH AFRICANS ROCKING HERITAGE MONTH!! BY Masekoameng Rebecca On the 24 September is a South African public holiday known as heritage day. On this day, South Africans across country are encouraged to celebrate their culture and the diversity of their beliefs and traditions in the wider context of a nation that belongs to all the people.
South Africans celebrate heritage day by remembering the cultural heritage of the many cultures that make up the population of South African. Amongst other different rituals or events South Africans use to celebrate their heritage, most of them show their heritage or tradition through different traditional attires of different cultures that they wear.
One of South Africans who used their traditional attire for celebrating heritage month is Itumeleng Rapulana who is 25
Years of age from Mogodi GA- Mphahlele. She rocked her green and mustard African print shorts with a mustard traditionally costumed shirt blended with green and mustard African prints around the neck and on the shoulders. She said she choose this design because it is unique and she loves it because it reveals her personality which is fun and outgoing.
It is believed in terms of fashion sense that sometimes minimalism is the ultimate sophistication meaning a little touch of color in a matching outfit such as all white or all white is a great element to implement to one's attire. One can still wear their traditional shirt with their normal pair of jeans and look traditional yet elegant and stylish.
It is important for every individual to celebrate and embrace their different cultures every day, not only on heritage day so that they can always remember has where they come from at all timed

So many destinies have perished without vision. God told Abraham that He will be a Father of nations. However, Abraham could not comprehend these words from the great God. There was no vision; he was clueless on how God will make a supposed barren man and woman in their old age, father of nation, what do you see about your life now?
Abraham saw childlessness while God saw generation in Abraham. God cannot help Abraham until he make him SEE. What do you see? That was the day Abraham became father of nations. Are you looking towards heaven? So many Christians today looks towards their pocket, their friends, the news, the present situation, the economy holocaust, their background. Refuse to let your life be moved by what you see in the physical. 2 Corinthians 4:18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. WHAT DO YOU SEE? Begin from today to see yourself the way God sees you. God sees you a victor, a success, a winner, a leader. MAUWANE RAOPHALA a bang. Cape Town City centre forward (striker) Judas Moseamedi aims high for the new PSL season, and target to score at least 10 goals for his team. The Tzaneen-born young striker started his soccer career at the former Mpumalanga based team by the name of Mpumalanga Black Aces back in 2012, where he went for trials, and he was lucky enough to be to selected to play for their under 19 reserve team ( Mpumalanga Black Aces Academy) at the age of 18. In 2015, he was promoted to the Mpumalanga Black Aces’ first team, where he played 21 league games, and managed to score 5 goals, he started 6 games, and 15 of them he came in as a substitute. “I felt so excited when I was promoted to the first team, because it was like a dream come true. From dusty area, to be right up there in PSL is a big achievement for someone like me,” he said.

soccer player to represent his national team at the higher level of major tournaments,” he said.
The Tzaneen Express said that, the environment at Cape Town is too confusing, because you don’t know whether to wear shorts or warm clothes since the weather is unpredictable, and changes every moment now and then.
When asked who is the player he always looked up to, he said, Sibusiso Zuma is the one player who he admired, and inspired him to play soccer when he was a child.
“Playing alongside with experienced player like Collins Mbesuma last season helped me in many ways. He taught me how to deal with pressure on the field of play, and also the pressure from the supporters. This season I’m looking forward to work together with Lehlohonolo Majoro and learn a lot from him in order to achieve my target of scoring at least 10 goals,” he said. The 22-year-old center forward was called up to form part of Bafana Bafana squad to play in the Cosafa cup late in June 2016, where they ended up winning the tournament by 3-2 up against Botswana, and Judas was one of the goal scorers in that final match. Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mabasha decided to call under 23 players to take part in the Cosafa tournament in order to prepare them for the recent 2016 Rio Olympic games in Brazil, where they were eliminated in the group stages. Unfortunately, Judas Moseamedi wasn’t called up to form part of the under 23 Rio Olympic squad. “I felt very honoured when I played my debut for our national team, because is everyone’s wish as a professional
“In the next 5 years to come, I want to see myself as a regular Bafana Bafana player, and help our national team to qualify for major tournaments, and bring the spirit of 1996 in our squad when they won Afcon, ”he said. “I’m one of the highly rated players at my home town Tzaneen, for that matter I would like to host Moseamedi tournament in the near future in order to encourage young people to keep playing soccer, because they will never know when is their lucky day to achieve what I have achieved so far,” he said.
