UNIT CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATING CONTEST Tuesday, 7 December, 1800 Camp Casey Warrior’s Club
Family and MWR invites Units to the Casey Warrior’s Club to decorate a Christmas tree for unit competition. The trees and stands will be provided to the first 10 contestants. Units must provide their own decorations. Trees will be setup at the entryway and hallway of the Warrior’s Club or Hovey CAC starting 7 December, just pick your tree and go to the Warrior’s Club office to register. These trees will be given out on a first come first served basics. Decorated trees will be judged on 14 December at 1700 by a distinguished panel of judges. Announcement will be made to the top 3 winners, after which, funds will be deposited into their Unit accounts.
Prizes: 1st Place - $250 / 2nd Place - $200 / 3rd Place - $150

11 NAMI ISLAND TRIP

Cost: $40 (Ferry Ride to Nami Island & Transportation Fee) A good place for sightseeing; especially in autumn with wonderful natural scenes and clean air and a good place to unwind from busy lifestyle. Nami Island is an oasis for culture and leisure, a place in peaceful harmony with humanity and nature. After a five minutes ferry ride, participants meet a forest of verdant trees and open grassy areas where ostriches, rabbits, squirrels. Chipmunks, ducks and peacocks welcome visitors. • Please bring Korean Won for lunch or snacks. • Minimum 5 participants required. • It will be convenient to wear light clothes and sneakers because there is a lot of walking time.
