LONGEST TRAVELLER: CHOIRMASTER trained by C & M Johnston, Middleham, 235 miles. RACE SUMMARY

RUSHFORD opened his account in excellent style under a change of tactics at Windsor 3 weeks ago, ridden more patiently and overcoming a pace bias as he went clear for a cosy success. There’s got to be a good chance he’ll do better again upped in trip and he makes plenty of appeal. Franco Grasso is feared most in first-time cheekpieces, while Hashtagmetoo is another player.

LONGEST TRAVELLER: ACCRINGTON STANLEY trained by Paul George, Crediton, 84 miles. RACE SUMMARY

BE LUCKY MY SON doubled his career tally at Chelmsford a fortnight ago and a subsequent 3lb rise may not be enough to prevent the follow up. Accrington Stanley certainly wasn’t winning out of turn over C&D last time and is also up just 3lb, so he’s a threat, along with Murphy’s Dream. 1-2-3: 1.BE LUCKY MY SON (IRE) 2.ACCRINGTON STANLEY 3.MURPHY’S DREAM KEY colours

This looks a good opportunity for THREE PRIESTS to get off the mark dropped back in grade. The filly was unable to land a blow at listed level on her last 2 outings, but prior to that had bumped into a couple of promising types when runner-up in a pair of novice events. Ice House showed promise on debut and can be the one to give the selection most to think about, with Alpha King making up the shortlist.
