The team at Bath Racecourse are delighted to welcome you to our summer afternoon raceday on what promises to be a fantastic day’s racing.
I would like to give a warm welcome to the sponsors of today’s races – CB Protection who are sponsoring 4 races, Bailey Cook Financial Planning and SAS Logistics. I would like to take this opportunity to thank these sponsors for their generosity and hope they all have an amazing afternoon today.
We have a brilliant line-up of racing this afternoon, consisting of seven competitive fields running today. This will mark the third meeting in our July Wednesday racing series. These are brilliant opportunities to bring friends, family & colleagues for an exciting day out and we hope to welcome you to further racing fixtures this season at Bath Racecourse.
We also have an exciting line-up of racing and events throughout the remainder of the summer with August shaping up to be an incredible month of action. We have five racedays in the month with the highlights being our Rum & Reggae racenight on Friday 4th August and our Cider Festival racenight featuring The Wurzels on Saturday 19th August. Please head into main reception or customer service point for a copy of the fixture list where we have a handy, wallet size fixture list so you can easily plan your next visit to the racecourse.
In recent weeks, I have been incredibly impressed with the racing on the course, with some very competitive races and some exhilarating finishes. We have also seen a number of regular visitors to the winners enclosure this season, with today the Nikki Evans trained More Than Likely chasing a third win this season here at Bath to go with a win in 2022.
As you will see by the current state of the ground, our grounds team have been working tirelessly to produce a fantastic surface which has seen our field sizes grow over the month. I would like to thank them for their hard work along with the office team who have done a phenomenal job given the volume of racedays and events we have had recently I am forever grateful for their hard work and endeavours.
Best of luck to all connected with horses today and we wish you a fabulous afternoon here at Bath Racecourse.

I’M MABLE notched her first win for her current yard in a small-field event at Brighton last time and should get a strong pace to aim at here again, so is fancied to follow up at the chief expense of More Than Likely, whose bid for the C&D hat-trick will be made more difficult by her high draw. RACE SUMMARY
None of these look particularly solid and PFINGSTBERG could be the answer He took a step forward when third on his handicap debut at Yarmouth last month and wouldn’t need to improve much on that bare form to get seriously involved in a race of this nature. Ladypacksapunch will be a threat if she puts her best foot forward, while Dee’s Dream is respected on the back of her creditable Windsor effort and Rita Rana is dangerous to discount off this reduced mark.
