The team at Bath Racecourse are delighted to welcome you to our afternoon raceday! I would like to take this opportunity to extend a verywarm welcome to today’s sponsors –Agbio Investor, Dick Lovett, Hotel Indigo andVickers Bet. I would like to thank everyone who is sponsoring a race today for their generosity, and hope they all have a wonderful afternoon.
We are set for a fantastic afternoon of racing with 7 sensational races taking place. This afternoon we have Delagate This Lord and More Than Likely compete against each other once again in the Phil Mac Associates Handicap. Their last meeting saw them finish in a dead-heat, so we are very excited for them both to be returning to Bath. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish all of the owners and trainers luck today, and would like to thank all who have chosen to run their horses at Bath throughout the season. Everyone here at Bath Racecourse would like to thank you for your support, and wish you all the best throughout the remainder of the season.
Today also marks our fourth and final meeting of our July Wednesday racing series, which have proven popular choices for both friends and families, in addition to colleagues and work places. We also have an exciting line-up of racing and events throughout the rest of the summer. We are racing every week throughout August, with the line-up consisting of our Rum and Reggae Racenight and our Cider Racenight featuring the Wurzels; in addition to our popular Afternoon Racing meets throughout the other weeks.
Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all of our diligent raceday employees. We are now just over halfway through the season, and I would like to thank you for your continued commitment and dedication. We have received some outstanding feedback on the excellent service you have provided thus far, so I would like to thank you for all of your hard work.
I hope you all have an enjoyable afternoon with us here today at Bath Racecourse, and we hope to welcome you back to another 2023 fixture in the near future.
