THE VICKERS.BET BET 10GET20 PROMO CODE CHEPSTOW HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) Total race value £5527 x Owners Prize Money. 1st £1835, 2nd £917, 3rd £459, 4th £251, 5th £240, 6th £240, 7th £240, 8th £240. (Penalty Value £2322) SS

RACE STATS LEADING COURSE TRAINER (16-21): T Carroll (14 wins from 117 runners, 12%) runs BLUE VENTURE and ESSAKA TRAINER-IN-FORM (LAST 14 DAYS): T Carroll (4 wins from 46 runners, 9%) runs BLUE VENTURE and ESSAKA WEIGHTWATCHER: GIOVANNI TIEPOLO won off a handicap mark of 65, his rating is now down 18lb to 47. LONGEST TRAVELLER: CABLE GUY trained by C Fellowes, Newmarket, 164 miles. RACE SUMMARY

Gelded ahead of his improved handicap debut fourth at Bath on Wednesday, CABLE GUY could be the answer to this weak race if turned out again quickly. Bellevarde also performed with credit a couple of days ago, finishing third at Lingfield, and a repeat of that would put her firmly in the picture. Aquadabra can usually be relied upon to run her race and she also enters calculations. 1-2-3: 1.CABLE GUY 2.BELLEVARDE (IRE) 3.AQUADABRA (IRE) KEY

Proud Champions of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme All of our member racecourses participate in the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme, a nationwide initiative for those with disabilities that may not be visible. A sunflower lanyard discretely signals to staff that the person wearing the lanyard may need additional support or a little more time when attending racedays. Guests are welcome to bring their own lanyards or to register in advance by contacting the racecourse they’ll be attending. Sunflower lanyards can also be collected at certain entrance points. If you would like more information, please ask a member of staff.

LONGEST TRAVELLER: SWEET PURSUIT trained by R Millman, Cullompton, 77 miles. RACE STATS LEADING COURSE TRAINER (16-21): D Evans (22 wins from 224 runners, 10%) runs CLIFFS OF FREEDOM TRAINER-IN-FORM (LAST 14 DAYS): D Evans (4 wins from 18 runners, 22%) runs CLIFFS OF FREEDOM WEIGHTWATCHER: INNER CIRCLE won off a handicap mark of 69, his rating is now down 13lb to 56. LONGEST TRAVELLER: ELSPETH ROSE trained by Mrs Stella Barclay, Garstang, 202 miles. RACE SUMMARY

RAFFLES REBEL wasn’t seen to best effect when third on his handicap debut at Lingfield early last month and, with that form working out well, he looks the one to beat now taking on his elders for the first time. Inner Circle looked an unlucky loser at Brighton recently so is an obvious threat, while Cliffs of Freedom is one to watch in the betting now setting out for a shrewd new yard.
