LONGEST TRAVELLER: GUSTAV GRAVES trained by D Shaw, Sproxton, 156 miles. RACE SUMMARY

MONSIEUR FANTAISIE was arguably a shade unlucky not to win at Bath a week ago and he can quickly gain compensation. The 4-y-o was headed only close home having had to to wait for a gap from 2f out, so he can go one better this time around. Glamorous Force has dropped to his last winning mark and is feared most with Tom Marquand on board, ahead of Fossos who is also down in the weights.

RACE STATS LEADING COURSE TRAINER (17-22): A Balding (13 wins from 70 runners, 19%) runs ROSCIOLI TRAINER-IN-FORM (LAST 14 DAYS): A Balding (10 wins from 60 runners, 17%) runs ROSCIOLI WEIGHTWATCHER: DAPHNE MAY won off a handicap mark of 76, her rating is now down 5lb to 71. LONGEST TRAVELLER: TIGER BEETLE trained by Sir M Stoute, Newmarket, 164 miles. RACE SUMMARY WAY OF LIFE has been thriving for Jonathan Portman, completing a 5-timer at Newbury 14 days ago, and will continue to take all the beating. The 4-y-o won a shade cosily last time so another 7lb rise in the weights might not be enough to prevent him extending his winning sequence. Roscioli could be the one to give him most to think about down in grade, while Tiger Beetle can do better for Sir Michael Stoute. 1-2-3: 1.WAY OF LIFE 2.ROSCIOLI 3.TIGER BEETLE KEY colours

RACE SUMMARY

A fascinating maiden, and perhaps an opportunity for GAIUS to finally get his head in front. Richard Hannon’s colt is bred to be at his best over middle distances and made a pleasing return at Nottingham. Potential dangers are numerous, with useful hurdler Ajero and the returning King of Ice perhaps likeliest to give the selection most trouble. 1-2-3: 1.GAIUS 2.AJERO (IRE) 3.KING OF ICE KEY colours
