LONGEST TRAVELLER: BILLYTHEREALBIGRED trained by O Greenall & J Guerriero, Malpas, 117 miles.

Having won all 3 completed outings in handicap hurdles, BILLYTHEREALBIGRED made an impressive start over fences at Bangor last month and he can continue his progress to add to his tally. Range was in the process of showing improved form on his chase debut and could be the main danger, with Heros de Romay completing the shortlist

Lynne Fletcher Memorial Handicap Hurdle

Lynne Fletcher worked with us at Chepstow and Bath from 2006 until her passing this year. She was our Owners and Trainers hostess and was an ever-present gracious host ensuring visits to the racecourse were most enjoyable regardless of where their horses finished in the race! Over the years she met thousands of owners and trainers and was extremely popular and loved. She then moved to host the Winning Connections at Chepstow Racecourse

to celebrate victories with owners and trainers, always sharing in the occasion with a glass of fizz! She was more than just a hostess, greeting everyone with her huge heart and big smile. She brought family and friends to join the team of casual staff at the racecourse and would often go straight from a busy day at racing to an evening shift as Guest Relations Manager at the St Pierre Marriott. We are delighted to welcome Lynne’s family and friends to racing today, with the 6th race being named in her memory.
