Central to that is the track itself and our groundstaff do everything in their power to provide an optimum racing surface On duty today we also have a dedicated and experienced team of highly-qualified Vets, Doctors and Paramedics following the action at every stage. Their key responsibility is to monitor and provide care to the competitors throughout their time at the racecourse. Once again, after thirteen years, Ben’s family would like to thank all those that have joined us over the years remembering the fun and joy he gave us.
Ben loved the River Thames, the very good friends he made, and the strong bonds formed whilst growing up together as apprentice Watermen.
We lost Ben on the Tideway when he was 19, watching his friends grow older and have their own families is lovely to see and reminds us of what could have been.
We know he will be looking down on us from Heaven with that great, big unforgettable smile.
So once again, thank you for your presence over the years, it’s been uplifting.
Thank you to the staff at Lingfield that help us.
God bless you
