Dear All,
On this third and final day of the Summer Festival, we return to our traditional Monday night slot with a musical theme of Jazz n Funk After the last race, please head to the paddock lawn, where the street food stalls and bars will remain open as Jam Hot play out the evening with the sounds of Steve Wonder, Sister Sledge and Lionel Ritchie
After a rare Monday off next week, the concerts continue later in July with Rum n Reggae next in the calendar on 17 July, when we invite you to join the UK’s Number 1 Bob Marley tribute band Marley Revival as they transport us thousands of miles to the Caribbean without even leaving the racecourse!
The following week, on 24 July, it’s Vegas Racenight, as Rat Pack Live bring us the patter and razzamatazz of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr, reviving the all-time Rat Pack favourites, with renditions of New York, New York, That’s Amore, My Way, Mr Bojangles and That’s Life.
Tickets for all our fixtures may be purchased via our website, windsor-racecourse. co.uk, with a variety of special packages available and discounts applied to early bookings. This is also the place to head if you like the idea of dining in style with a table for the day in the panoramic 1866 Restaurant.
Looking forward to the end of the month, Ladies Evening will take place this year at a new fixture on Saturday 29th July. This is sure to be a popular addition to the racecourse schedule, especially with our Style Awards judges awarding exciting prizes to the racegoers who particularly catch their eyes!
We hope you enjoy the music and racing tonight, including a valuable qualifier in the Fitzdares Sprint Series at 7.15. High summer is a special time of year and we hope to see you again soon at Royal Windsor, The Home of Monday Night Racing
Best wishes,
Liam Johnson Executive DirectorColour Graphic

Each horse has been given a star rating, these are defined below:
HHHHH Selected to win the race
HHHHI Good chance of being placed.
HHHII By no means out of the reckoning but at least one or two hold stronger claims
HHIII Unlikely to win but not totally without hope
HIIII Can be given little or no chance.
BF - Beaten Favourite
C - Course winner
D - Distance winner
CD - Course & Distance winner
The BHA Handicappers allot ratings to horses once they have taken part in a sufficient number of races to enable the Handicappers to make a numerical assessment of each horse’s ability.
The principal purpose of the ratings is to determine the weight to be carried by each runner in handicap races, with the Handicappers aiming to provide each participant with an equal chance based on its best recent orm under its optimum conditions. A horse rated 100, for example, would be set to carry 1lb more than a horse rated 99 (ignoring any penalties or allowances).
The ratings published in the racecard for handicap races are the ratings that were used to calculate the weight to be carried by each horse, whilst in non-handicaps races the rating shown is that of each runner at the time that the entries for the race were confirmed Any subsequently published change to a rating, either up or down, is shown in brackets following the rating.
Thank you to family and friends for love and support.
