WELCOME
Tonight is one of the most significant days of the entire Royal Windsor summer - the beginning of our traditional Monday evening sequence of racing with live music which will take us all the way through to August as we party on the paddock lawn nearly every week.
Tonight we bring you ‘80s Retro Explosion - the Utimate 80s Concert, celebrating an unforgettable decade of songs that sound as fresh today as they did then. The nearby bars and catering kiosks will remain open so you can have a late bite to eat and final beverage or two after the racing has finished
Later this month, the Monday extravaganzas continue with Irish Night (10 June), Summer Garden Party (17 June) and a brand new theme - the Royal After Party (24 June) providing the entertainment over the next three weeks. But we have some major Saturday dates too, including Ladies Day on 29 June
Booking is open now for all our future fixtures, with savings available for groups of 10 or more. On our website windsor-racecourse.co.uk you can also secure hospitality and restaurant facilities or a unique journey to and from the racecourse by riverboat, gliding its way gracefully along the Thames to our own jetty near the main entrance.
On the track this evening we bring you the third qualifier in the popular Fitzdares Sprint Series, this one over six furlongs, with the heats leading to a valuable final later in the year There’s also a competitive turnout for the Get Raceday Ready Handicap over ten furlongs before the action switches to the stage near the parade-ring.
Summer is now in full swing and the next three months are the centrepiece of the colourful Royal Windsor season. Summer will all be over far too soon, so we hope you will be able to make the most of the programme of events we have lined up for you as we prove yet again that Windsor is indeed The Home of Monday Night Racing!

D - Distance winner
CD - Course & Distance winner
OFFICIAL BHA RATINGS EXPLAINED
The BHA Handicappers allot ratings to horses once they have taken part in a sufficient number of races to enable the Handicappers to make a numerical assessment of each horse’s ability.
The principal purpose of the ratings is to determine the weight to be carried by each runner in handicap races, with the Handicappers aiming to provide each participant with an equal chance based on its best recent form under its optimum conditions. A horse rated 100, for example, would be set to carry 1lb more than a horse rated 99 (ignoring any penalties or allowances).
The ratings published in the racecard for handicap races are the ratings that were used to calculate the weight to be carried by each horse, whilst in non-handicaps races the rating shown is that of each runner at the time that the entries for the race were confirmed Any subsequently published change to a rating, either up or down, is shown in brackets following the rating.

RAFFLES ANGEL did the job well when opening her account on her handicap debut at Ripon recently and she looks capable of defying a 7lb rise in the weights. The main danger may be posed by Noisy Music, who chased home a race-fit, progressive rival back from a break at Wolverhampton and may have more to offer now pitched into a handicap for her new yard.
