Peter Dunnett Memorial Race
24 years have now past come 1st November since we lost a very special man. What he would make of the world today and current affairs I really don’t know! But today family and old friends can remember the good old days and happier times. Peter was a very special man, devoted loving father and husband, he now has 2 wonderful beautiful grandchildren and another on the way, how he would have loved them. Hope everyone here today and reads this enjoys the final meeting at Gt Yarmouth, I’m hoping for a successful day but most of all hope we can all enjoy the day and I’m sure a bit of reminiscing. The photo depicts a proud day when we visited Buckingham Palace where Peter and his brother David received the MBE for services to the house building industry back in 1984. They were voted top builders in the Uk, some remarkable feat for a small company in Norfolk, sadly David can’t be here today but a few of the small team who were part of that amazing achievement are.
Enjoy the day everyone.

HOPEMAN HARBOUR is able to race off the same mark as when winning quite cosily at Chelmsford last week so he’ll take a bit of stopping if he can translate that form to the turf. Fellow last-time-out scorer The Spotlight Kid may give him most to do. The likes of Kingofhell, Lucia Joy and Rose’s Girl should also get involved in the battle for minor honours
