Based on the souvenir necklace (right), this series investigates negative spaces, using both the mold and its result to create objects that work in pair. Working in both jewelry and furniture realms, it addresses the issue of scale and the results of its shifts. souvenir necklace
In this pair, the necklace pendant is melted silver, nested in a concrete base.

In the other pair, the birch stool was carved using both wood shop machines and hand tools, while the other one has a foam base, covered with painted fiberglass. Both pieces were exhibited at the OBJECT Rotterdam fair, held in February 2013 at the Nederlands Architecture Institute (NAi), in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
