Born between Rome and Milan, my life has been always full of references among history and modernity. The attention for the site around me and art in general, has pushed me, since I was a children, towards an artistic and architectural school career. My story at the Fine Arts High School, approached me to a broader vision of architecture: I learned how design buildings using sculpture and painting, watching spaces through the camera not only through eyes. During my course of study I have had the opportunity to experience different artistic techniques such as engraving, analog photography and its printing, ceramics and 3D modeling, from sculpture to the use of software. My huge passion for artistic disciplines was then addressed in the world of Architecture, which is why I decided to start my study at Politecnico of Milan, faculty of Architecture Design. Here, my cultural background has been mixed with a much more scientific approach to architecture, from the preliminary design stage to the executive design phase, learning how to deal with all aspects of the building, included materials, technological and structural choices, then ending with the finished product exposed in the economic evaluation project. During my university career I’ve developed not only assigned projects by teachers, one of which exhibited at the “Triennale di Milano”, but I deepened various topics, as the residence, the existing space as well as multidisciplinary site and installations, through public competition, independently and together to design architecture Studies, as Zeno Architetti or Exposure Architects. After I graduated I decided to move to London, a city of unstoppable and different social dynamics, that keep growing in terms of the activities as well as in terms of the city itself. Here in London I would like to further develop my attention to the city as a place in which interpersonal relations are created, where space and person are mixed together to create a unique activity. This attention to the spaces that we live in everyday has always brought me to a design closely linked to the context, as a complex element composed by buildings and people, respecting the existing as part of a consolidated urban system. In my college and work career I always carried with me the great Masters of architecture and their teachings, however always looking at the future, mixing together new technologies and new techniques of representation. That’s the way I would face my studies in UK, trying to carry in my projects the attention for the beauty, details and context, typical of an Italian-style design, and introduce myself into a modern and dynamic way of life of London. “The idea of an architect is never merely formal. Must be both social, scientific and poetic”. Renzo Piano

01 Artist’s House - Building Design Construction in Architecture I The project, realized for the Building Design Construction in Architecture part I, is composed by one big volume without its central part, used as a patio, tipical of the italian architecture. The volume is near by a big field, next to the centre of Milan. The client is a family of artists, one of them writer and the other a photographer. The central patio is the main protagonist of the bWuilding, because of his position, all the rooms are conected to it. The rooms inside are many, from the badromms and the kitchen, to the black room for the photographer and the small library. The building was studied in all its technological aspects, from the wellness of the people to the enviroment.

Urban Planning RI-formare Milano Architecture Design Lab III
Once the masterplan was developed, with the analysis about different services, offices, commercial, cultural and residential service; residential part was the main theme. The project is composed by three towers with different high and orientation, joined together by a glazed parallelepiped suspended from the ground. Different orientation of the towers creates, at the ground level, a different circulation between street and the park specially design. The development in height shows the building as a permeale block, because of the seemingly random repetition of the windows, because of the insert of the glazed parallelepiped suspended from the ground. Every towers have inside different kind of residence, among which senior housing, residences for tradizional families, for students and duplex.

04 Rishon Competition - A new smart neighborhood co-working with Exposure Architects by Oliviero Godi The future neighborhood at Tzifrim ex-IDF base is a unique opportunity to address the issue of the transformation of dismissed IDF bases into new, sustainable neighborhoods (when attached to a city) or into new small towns (if away from urban centers). Our idea is to create a Cultural Campus where schools, cultural center, youth center, library, auditoriums, swimming pool, gyms and commercial activities co-exist in a sustainable, coordinated, and interacting way. The archetype we used to design the campus is the Soccer Stadium: a place where each person has a complete view of the inner space, where each level has the same amount of services. In our case then each classroom of the school has green outer space, has a view on the campus life; all buildings have an outer face to the bursting life of the city and an inner face to the quite and green space of the campus. Sustainability is an abused word if used in a generic way, but it can be extremely powerful if clearly defined and specified through active actions and solutions. The rapid growth in population in Israel poses new challenges for city services and infrastructure, but at the same time, it creates new economic opportunities and social benefits for people. As more people migrate to urban areas, it will strain cities’ already limited resources and services like energy, cultural activities, schooling, food and water. Better management of these resources is a key component to making cities smarter and new sustainable neighborhoods. The vision is to create a completely new type of neighborhood district, based on environmental, economic and social sustainability.

The workshop consists into the design of a totally wood structure. It’s a Odino’s horse, figure of the nordic mythology, used as a platform in the lake. All the wood elements has been cutted, polished and assembled by all the students, under control and after the initial project by the architect Duilio Forte.
