In recent years, zero-turn ride-on lawnmowers have grown in popularity both here in Europe and throughout the USA. The reason is simple. People are working harder and longer hours than ever before. Come the weekend, few want to spend their precious day-off mowing the lawn. An Ariens zero-turn will complete the work in no time at all. What makes these zero-turns so fast? Rather than the conventional steering system found on a lawn tractor or out-front mower, these zero-turns are driven and steered by the rear wheels via two independent transmissions. Two handles are all you need to drive, brake and steer. This system enables you to spin on the spot. Imagine – no three-point-turn at the end of the cutting pass. After just a few minutes of practice, the controls feel second nature. You can easily and precisely cut around obstacles such as flower beds, trees or garden ornaments.

A zero-turn mower will allow you to cut your lawn efficiently as you can turn 180° at the end of a mowing row. There is no need to drive over previously cut areas or waste time backing up to manoeuvre into position for the next pass.

Four interchangeable batteries allow for up to five and half hours of continuous cutting. The battery management system provides intelligent load balancing. This means that power is drawn from fully-charged batteries first, before then drawing from all four batteries equally.

BL ADE SLIP FE ATURE

Ariens patent-pending spindle design can absorb impact with little risk of serious damage. A unique blade slip feature allows the blade to slip momentarily should it hit an unmovable object, protecting the 3.5kW spindle motor. The spindle has a replaceable bottom bearing allowing for servicing and maintenance without the need to replace the whole unit.
