1 Introduction The CE100 is an ultra-portable, handheld and durable presence of through-wall life detector. CE100 provides military, law enforcement and Search & Rescue personal critical information in real-time about the presence of life and its distance behind a wall. CE100 is simple to operate, providing vital information when and where it is needed in a few seconds. Building on its successful legacy of UWB radar life detecting products, Novasky developed the advanced handheld presence of life detector—the CE100. The CE100 uses Micropower, Ultrawideband (UWB) and pulsed radar to penetrate standard building materials and alert the user to the presence of life on the other side of the wall. Developed with the specific needs for tactical and first responder in mind, the CE100 provides instant critical situational awareness and target acquisition data. The CE100 enables better tactical decision making in many operational scenarios.
