HYBRIDA
Studio OFF concerns the redesign of the abandoned stadium of Agia Triada in Thessaloniki, the redefinition of the concept of vacation.
Our project is a hybrid of both camping and resort, mostly of an ephemeral character. We perceive OFF as an opportunity for someone to escape from their everyday life and spend time alone or with their loved ones. The main purpose was to design a place that offers a pleasant break from the fast city pace in which the visitor can be either completely free of responsibilities or telework if needed. Structures are scattered throughout the site as pavilions or follies, hosting the functions of the park. The unifying element of the structures is a yellow stripe, a suggested route, which passes through all the structures and works as a reference and orientation point for the visitor.
