ARIZONA BILTMORE WALDORF ASTORIA LETS GUYS PLAY RAT PACK John Scott Lewinski January 30, 2020 The identity of the Rat Pack – that group of 1950s and 1960s singers, actors and troublemakers — is synonymous with the desert. From Las Vegas to Palm Springs, the joke-cracking and hard-drinking team of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., and company did their best work around the sands. Pun intended. The Arizona Biltmore, a Waldorf Astoria resort set in the Valley of the Sun, recently introduced the Destination Debonair package. They call it “a contemporary gentlemen’s escape inspired by the classic gentlemen of the Rat Pack.”
