Music triggers powerful emotional responses by activating different parts of the brain. People like Tony Bennet suffered from severe Alzheimer’s but could still perform an entire repertoire of songs and lyrics well into his 90s.
People often associate songs or artists with major events like a date, wedding, or that first kiss. Music written in different keys can evoke feelings. Major keys tend to sound upbeat and happy. Minor keys create mellow or sad moods.

The Tucson Tasty Show is dedicated to showcasing the finest restaurant, most talented chefs, and creative minds that are creating the most TASTY things to eat, drink or experience here in Tucson. As we are hyper focused on Tucson’s Food culture we have started to uncover what an amazing city it truly is. We’ve experienced Tucson through a different lens. A road less traveled, like Tucson Knife Fights, Iron Chef of Tucson, Down to the most iconic figures that make Tucsons Food scene so Tasty.
As we begin this journey, we had to dive into what UNESCO was and why Tucson has held this designation since 2015. Along with such iconic locations as the Taj Mahal and the prestigious Giza pyramids. Why Tucson? What we found was not only inspiring, but brought a new light to why Tucson is such an incredible place to live. As the founders of The Tucson Tasty Show originally from Tucson, being born and raised; they have been to every tourist spot or attraction that you can think of.
We also remember such nostalgic places such as Breakers Waterpark, Justin‘s Waterworks, and Gordos Mexican restaurant. All places that are dearly missed by those of us old enough to have experienced and enjoyed great memories in these places. We were

Instead, it has everything to do with being a historic heritage site. We then discovered that we owe it all to the Tohono O’odham Tribe and the incredible people in the Tribe that have continuously grown and propagated amazing agriculture in the Tucson area for more than 4000 years! The hard work and dedication to keeping this designation has been marginalized or misunderstood by our residence here in Tucson. Terrifying new tasty bites are being offered up as a sacrifice to appease the spirits that haunt Old Tucson Studios starting Sep. 27th. As the residents of Tucson begin to awaken from their lazy summer days, they eagerly embrace the arrival of Fall weather and flavors of pumpkin spice. While the hallowed halls of the University once again echo with the footsteps of students, the thrilling spectacle of the football season has already begun. An evil has started to grow just outside of town. The mayor of Nightfall attempted to warn us all about our rising doom. An insidious darkness had clawed its way back from the void, raising its ghastly head to terrorize the poor souls standing tall against him. Though his efforts would be in vain, as he was carried away by the possessed residents of Nightfall to be locked away in chains. Leaving us with Mary Hyde, the Queen of Demons and wife to the infamous tormentor Jebediah Hyde. Fortunately, this year at Nightfall you won’t have to endure the haunts, the scares, or the clowns on an empty stomach. Thanks to Executive Chef Dillon Suttererfield, we have some incredibly Tasty bites to fill our stomachs. Chef Dillon is a Tucson area native Arizonian. He has worked at many restaurants in the Tucson area and has curated the perfect menu for all who brave the streets of Old Tucson Studios Nightfall: Reign of Terror this year.
At this year’s Nightfall at Old Tucson Studios Reign of Terror, guests can indulge in the mouthwatering Mesquite Smoked Turkey Legs, a standout bite that perfectly complements the festive atmosphere. These dino-sized turkey legs are slow-smoked to perfection using a taste of Tucson: mesquite firewood. As the school year begins, I would like to take this special moment to welcome you back to campus.
It feels like yesterday that I was a student at Howard University. I found forever friends, people who shaped me and supported me. I found my beloved Alpha Kappa Alpha sisters. Like many, college is when I started to become politically engaged. Together, we learned that progress happens in our country when young people fight for it.
Throughout my travels as Vice President, I love talking to young leaders. I am continually amazed by your grit, your perseverance, your intellect, and your deep passion for making our world better.
It is because of the record turnout among college students in 2020 that I am Vice President today. And to win this election, I need your support.
This November, so many of our fundamental freedoms are at stake. The freedom to vote. The freedom to live safe from gun violence. The freedom to love who you love, openly and with pride. The freedom to breathe clean air and drink clean water. And the freedom to make decisions about your own body.
Later this semester, you will have the opportunity to vote in an election that will decide the future of our country. You will have the power to shape our future. To continue to build the country you want to live in—one where your fundamental rights are protected—by taking to the ballot box and making your voice heard.
Your vote has never mattered more. When young people fight for progress, it changes the course of our nation. I believe in you. I am inspired by you. And I am rooting for your success.
