We set the standard for extended bags back in the early 90’s, and we figured it was time to raise the bar again. The Down-NOut bags from Arlen Ness are 6” longer and 2” lower than our original Big Bags. They feature a patent pending taper on the lower section of the bag for a clean new look and an extra 2” of ground clearance. These bags are constructed from high quality composite materials and are oven cured over a wide heat range to ensure stability and durability. Each bag has hand placed fibers strategically located to provide the highest structural integrity possible and a maximum strength to weight ratio. No shiny gel coat finish to sand and prime, every part comes finished, primed with a super high quality polyester sanding primer and is ready to paint. As always each bag is fit and lid tested and passes a 14-point quality control process. These bags are strong, long, light, and perfectly balanced. Down-N-Out Bags designed to fit factory lids and hardware. The bags are available in a primed ready to paint finish. Big Bags are longer than stock for a better look and increased storage. They are produced using a state of the art computer controlled injection process. This sophisticated process produces a smooth and finished product on both inner and outer surfaces. We carefully control temperature, vacuum, fiber placement and pressure during the manufacturing process to produce a void free super strong structure. Every saddlebag goes through a 13 hour post cure cycle in computer controlled ovens, slowly bringing them from 70째 to over 200째. This ensures maximum strength and temperature stability over a wide heat range. Our bags are jig drilled and lid tested to ensure proper fit and function to your factory lids. Big Bags are available in a ready-to-paint primer finish. Sold in pairs for 1993-up FLT applications. Lids and mounting hardware (03-525) are not included.

> Exhausts:

Exhaust systems are warrantied for manufacturing defects only. However, there is no warranty on exhaust pipes and mufflers with regard to any discoloration. Discoloration (blueing) is caused by tuning characteristics, exhaust timing, carburetor jetting, overheating, etc. and is not caused by defective manufacturing.

> Chrome Plating:

If, after initial inspection a flaw is discovered in the chrome, do not install. Please call Arlen Ness Enterprises for an RGA. We will replace these items at no charge. If chrome fails after installation during our 1-year warranty period, items will be re-chromed at our expense and then returned. Please use caution when installing chrome plated items, as the finish is fragile. Always use anti-seize when using chrome hardware on chrome plated products. Arlen Ness recommends using a quality wax or polish on chrome pieces to protect their finish.

> Engine Warranty:

All engines purchased from Arlen Ness Enterprises, Inc. will be warranted per the manufacturer warranty. If in the event that an engine has been assembled by Arlen Ness, they will have a warranty period of six months. Chrome parts will still carry our 1-year limited warranty.

> Consequential Damages:

Arlen Ness Enterprises shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages arising from the breach of any warranties, the failure to deliver, delay in delivery, delivery in non-conforming condition, or for any other breach of contract or duty between Arlen Ness Enterprises and the customer.

> Chrome Wheel Warranty - 1 Year Unconditional Warranty:

The chrome finish on your Arlen Ness wheel is of the highest quality, but to ensure its longevity it must be maintained properly. Salt, sand and humidity are bad for chrome. The black anodize finish on your Arlen Ness wheel is of the highest quality, but to ensure its longevity it be maintained properly. Exposure to UV rays is bad for black anodize.
