Board Meetings & Trustee Visits -This month I’m very excited to be visiting the Kansas District from November 4-6 , and the Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennesse District for for their fall board meetings. -In additon, best of luck to the Pacific Northwest District who will be holding thier Fall Board Meeting this weekend!
Advisor Appreciation Day Have you heard? Kiwanis International is celebrating advisors of all Service Leadership Programs during Kiwanis Family Month on Friday, November 4! Advisors are the sometimes-hidden but always-present forces that help each club succeed. Their work isn’t always easy, but the sense of achievement and reward is real. Our clubs could not do what they do without advisors. That’s why we’ve dedicated an entire day duringKiwanis Family Month to celebrate their commitment and service. Help us make all advisors feel special on November 4! Here’s how: Share the attached social media square on your social media sites, include an announcement about the day in all your district communications, encourage members to write (or personally speak) messages of thanks
Key Club Week
Key Club Introduces Breakthrough Breakthrough is a service-immersion program where Key Club members will have the opportunity to serve others, to learn from community leaders, to develop a better understanding of who they are as an individual and to better understand the legacy they’re leaving on their school, community and world. A pilot program will be offered in January 2017 in Miami, FL. Learn more about this exciting program here.

This year, Key Club Week is November 7-11! Key Club Week gives you the opportunity to show your community what Key Club is truly about: service. Each day places an emphasis on service, to promote Key Club within our homes, schools and communities and to make Key Club a household name. Monday’s theme is Show Your K in Every Way, Tuesday is Kudos To Key Players, Wednesday is Dare to Care, Thursday is Random Acts of Kindness, and Friday is Connect the K’s.
