Designing a sustainable building often ends in a technical building without any architectural qualities. So, here, I created a sustainable design as simple as possible with the most architectural qualities. A sharp and clean shape that I break with the extra frame around the windows and the greenhouse. The latter has an interior green wall and is used as semi-tempered space for the circulation. The two floors upstairs give more privacy to each family that is sharing this row house. In addition, in the technical sustainable buildings, the designers rarely think about the deconstruction phase. For this project, each material can be changed easily as they all last a different time. Designing for disassembly is a concept that needs to be included in the common idea of sustainability in order to have a circular life cycle for the buildings.
