“You employ stone, wood and concrete, and with these materials you build houses and palaces. That is construction. Ingenuity is at work. But suddenly you touch my heart, you do me good, I am happy and I say: “This is beautiful.” That is Architecture. Art enters in.” Vers une architecture, Le Corbusier, 1924

Out of craftsmans, a hairstylist was chosen after doing an ethnic survey and categorization Foldable and Carriable Shop Space Design Keeping in mind the problems faced by a hairstylist in his day to day activities, a foldable shop was designed out of gypsum boards which can be easily carried around. This enables new hairstylists to operate from different spaces and established shops to have more scope for expansion.

Market survey was done to understand their lifestyle and the following problems came in the picture.
