Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to you as I am looking for a job in a suitable Graduate Architect position. I am very passionate about architecture, hard worker, dynamic, creative, motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious architect with office and site experience in projects and constructions on residential projects (such as new houses, refurbishments and blocks of flats), industrial and commercial buildings.

I possess impeccable technical and computer skills with proficient knowledge of AutoCad, Microsoft Office. Advanced knowledge of Archicad, Sketchup, Artlantis Studio 3D, Photoshop, Corel Draw and I also have a good understanding of Studio Max 3D. Another of my strong points is my experience gained during my career relates to architecture as architect assistant, architectural technician, AutoCad designer, 3D model or model maker.

My attention to detail and excellent problem –solving skills ensure that every project I work on is done accurately and to the highest possible standard. I am comfortable working as a part of a team and also have the ability to take an authoritative role when the situation arises. Profile and Objectives I am an enthusiastic qualified Architect, registered with the Portuguese Professional Architects Association. I have practical office and site experience on a variety of schemes these include residential, commercial and leisure projects. I have gained broad experience not only related to the construction industry, but also within project management and team leader.

Private Residence, Barcelos, Portugal - Project Architect and Interior Designer 

Duties involved: the feasibility study, concept design, client presentations, planning applications, design development, interior design, detailing and work in collaboration with engineers and builders.



Ability to manage creative process leading to innovation and an awareness of the social and environmental impact of design work, ability to interpret engineer’s designs and technical drawings, communicate and liaise with design team and also with engineers, taking into account the knowledge of solar thermal.

Building Trade, V. N. Famalicão, Portugal - Project Architect 

Duties involved the building trade development, the feasibility study, concept design, client presentations, planning applications and design development.



This project required working to very tight deadlines and required good time management skills to ensure the work was completed methodically taking in account priority of tasks and a good business sense as well as thorough knowledge of the Building Regulations because other duties involved engaging with client, other design team members (architect, QS, structural engineers, contractors), building control and local authorities.
