Could you introduce yourself ?
“Joël Sigling, 54, born and raised in Amstelveen, where I currently live. I also spent eleven years in Antwerp, during and after my studies, where I had lots of acquaintances from the south of the Netherlands. So, the Eindhoven way of life isn’t too much of a culture shock for me; I hope the feeling is mutual.”
What interests you about the Brainport region?
“Whilst I consider myself a linguist through and through – very much a humanities guy – I’ve always had a keen interest in technology, and in high-tech in particular. Both our client base and the region as a whole are teeming with interesting technical businesses, producing and selling their products in incredibly modern and innovative ways. I just love it. If I’m honest, from a business perspective, I actually find this region more interesting and innovative than the region I hail from.”
“We recently moved to Strijp-T, one of the focal points in Brainport, where many of our existing – and no doubt, prospective – clients are also located. It’s a very exciting new stage in the company’s development.”
