ARROW’S BOW
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT JOSEPH? WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT THE TEXT?
Bow your heads and play along |Vanessa Abenojar - Intro/Copy Editor For centuries, I have always wanted to do it. I have always wanted to be this awesome. This amount of awesome-ness wouldn’t have even came into my life, if ARROW didn’t show up on my class schedule. You too are probably awesome if you have had the beautiful word “Journalism” Printed on your class schedule. In order to be really awesome, you must have a morning urge to hug Queenelle. Survive getting yelled at by Joseph. Have a consistent strange craving for Farid’s family pizza on the last day of paste up. You must also have some awkward input into anything we’re talking about during copy-editing hours and know how the chocolate at Luther’s Table taste like, only if you’re extremely awesome. This is ARROW’s Bow.

QU E E N E L L E GAZMEN THERE’S AMBITION IN HER EYES AND I CAN’T SEEM TO FIND ANY FLAWS IN HER. BIG THIS WILL HAPPEN TO THIS SMALL GIRL AND THOSE WHO SHE HAS CROSSED PATHS WITH ARE LUCKY TO KNOW HER.
JO SE P H VA R N A D O R E HIS BLUNT, JUST DO IT ATTITUDE IS HARD TO WALK PAST WITHOUT MAKING A FACE. SERIOUS YET SO STRANGE AND GIFTED WITH ADULT LIKE MANNERS IN HIGH SCHOOL. THIS IS A FAST READER THAT DOESN’T EASILY OPEN HIS COVER.
MR. SMITH THE LOUD ADVISOR WITH EYES THAT NEVER SEEM TO BLINK AS IF WE NEVER WANTS TO MISS OUT ON A SECOND OF LIFE. THE TEACHER WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT HIS STUDENTS. WITH HIS WICKED POETRY AND KEEN ATTITUDE, HIS COMMENTSBRUTAL OR PRAISING- WILL DEFINITELY MAKE YOU THINK.
Inside the ARROW room, havoc, tears, perverted jokes, and heart stopping creativity loses all virginity This dramatic whirl pool does serious damage to who each individual on staff is outside ARROW.
That blackens our hands if we hold on for too long but we decide to not let go.
And when it’s all said and done we pick up the pieces of our ideas
This is how each blood sack with bones becomes a liability.
That have been blown to bits by the explosion ignited by the profound brilliance
This is how each liability both fails and succeeds in the same day
Contributed by our simple presence.
This is how we touch people without reaching out physically
This is where we learned how to properly shake a hand This is where we learned how to sell with business attire This is where we learned how to jump far out of our comfort circle.
This is how trial and error is expected
This is how I would describe a cult of ARROWheads in one room
BLOWN TO BITS BY THE EXPLOSION IGNITED BY THE PROFOUND BRILLIANCE
This is where we decided to open up through ink on paper
THE GANG
K$HWAN
Stinky, vultures with no sense to hold back That’s not a bad thing
So they keep hitting, and I keep believing that we’re on the edge of something amazing.

Flip for a finale, this is ARROW’s bow I just thought it would be cool to make a magazine for everyone one last time. I’m hoping this will become some type of tradition. :D I mean, I would do it but that’s be awesome if someone else’s voice came through.! I remember in the beginning of the year, I barely knew any of you and how we’re laying on each other, yelling at each other like a real family. We’re family no matter what happens to this staff next year, no matter who decides to leave,
graduates or the amount of noobies we get. You will always be an ARROWhead and you’re always welcome in this family.
